New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center – The Children’s Advocacy Center is a child-friendly, safe place for child victims of sexual and physical abuse. Children, along with their non-offending family members, can receive the services necessary for return to optimal functioning. The Junior Service League assists by providing snacks on a monthly basis.

Empty Pantry – This organization provides food for the less fortunate in Blount County at Christmas. The annual food drive draws over 1,500 dedicated volunteers, who not only contribute funds but also pack and deliver the sturdy food “baskets,” which are actually large bags, containing nearly 100 pounds of food each. This is enough to feed a family of four for over a week. The Junior Service League volunteers time and raises the necessary money needed in order to fill the baskets of food.

Community Food Connection of Blount County – Community Food Connection provides one bag of food to each family that asks for assistance. Families may return after two weeks. The Junior Service League donates food and volunteers time for this local organization.
