JSL’s annual Clearinghouse will be next week. This is where we take calls from families who wish to sign up to receive toys for their children this Christmas. Do you know of a family in need? Here’s a flyer with all the info. Please feel free to pass it along!
Salsaritas is doing a fundraiser for Junior Service League on October 14 – 16 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. When you mention Junior Service League to your server, or better yet give him or her this form, JSL will receive 15% of your purchase. Please feel free to share with your friends and family!
Tonight was our New Member tea. It was so great to see all the new Provisionals. The board members were introduced to the Provisionals and each position was explained. Welcome to all the new girls! We are going to have a great year!!
Some tentative dates for our events are as follows: 8/25/2010- “Naming” Happy Hour at Aubrey’s, 12/18/2010- Santa Breakfast, 3/26/2011 Rummage Sale (3/25/2011 Sip and See- Preview to Rummage Sale), 6/3-4/2011- Relay For Life. Mark your calendar!
September Meeting is at Courtyard Grille on 9/7- Board at 5:30, General at 6:30. Board will meet in the room adjoining room to the large party room that General Meeting will meet in. Dinner will be Teriyaki Chicken with fresh baked potato and homemade rolls.

December is a very busy month for the members of Jr. Service League of Maryville. An entire years worth of work comes together. Every member participates in two exciting days of packing our purchased toys and those donated by schools and our community. The Toys For Blount County are packed in boxes and prepared for delivery with Empty Pantry food to Blount County families.
